Ljubljana, Slovenia

Ljubljana (loo-blee-AH-nuh) is one of Europe’s most underrated cities and worth a visit in my opinion. It’s a great place for slow travel; the city center is easily walkable and it is less crowded than most European capitals.

I visited for several days and felt like I was in a medieval fairytale with the gorgeous architecture, narrow streets, bridges, canal and the castle overlooking the city. Plus Ljubljana has excellent restaurants and is bit of a foodie mecca. Enjoy!
